🔥 Your First Book Promotion Offer Awaits! 🎁🔥
One thing I have learned from working around books and reader discovery is that a good book does not automatically become a visible book.
An author can spend months writing and publishing a book, put it on Amazon, announce it on social media, and then wait for readers to find it.
Sometimes, they don't.
Not because the book has no value.
Not because readers don't exist.
But because the book hasn't been placed in enough discovery opportunities.
That is where I see professional book marketing making a real difference.
When authors say they want to promote their books, the obvious solution is often another promotional post.
But I look at the problem differently.
Before asking, “How can I promote this book?”, I ask:
“How are new readers going to discover it?”
That question changes the entire marketing approach.
Because your book needs more than exposure for exposure's sake.
It needs to reach people who are already interested in books, genres, recommendations, and reading.
That's the foundation of how I approach Professional Book Marketing.
A common frustration I hear from authors is:
“I published my book, but nobody seems to know it exists.”
That is a visibility problem.
And visibility matters because readers cannot consider a book they never encounter.
This is why I don't treat Book Promotion as simply putting a book in front of random people.
My focus is on creating more opportunities for the book to be seen, discovered, considered, and potentially chosen by relevant readers.
There is an important difference between saying:
“I promoted my book.”
and being able to say:
“I created another path for readers to discover my book.”
The second is the outcome I care about.
Social media can certainly help authors promote books.
But there is a limitation I don't want authors to overlook.
Your post is competing with everything else happening in someone's feed.
A reader may see your book today and forget about it tomorrow.
Then you need another post.
And another.
And another.
Eventually, authors can find themselves spending enormous amounts of time trying to keep their books visible.
I prefer adding discovery opportunities that don't depend entirely on constantly fighting for attention in a fast-moving feed.
That's one reason Pinterest has become an important part of my book marketing approach.
Pinterest is particularly interesting for book marketing because people use the platform to discover ideas, recommendations, inspiration, and things they may want to explore.
That creates an opportunity for books.
A reader may not be following an author.
They may not know the author's name.
They may simply be searching for something like:
Books to read
Book recommendations
Mystery books
Romance books
Self-help books
New books to discover
Books similar to something they already enjoyed
That means the author doesn't always have to begin with “How many followers do I have?”
The more useful question becomes:
“Can my book appear when the right reader is looking for something like it?”
That's the type of reader discovery I focus on.
My Pinterest Books Recs Page “Selim's Books Verdict” currently generates 74K+ monthly reader impressions and has reached 800K+ readers since it was created.
The audience is also highly relevant to book discovery, with 80%+ female avid readers and 50%+ of readers from the United States.
This is important because my approach to Professional Book Promotion isn't based solely on reaching the largest possible audience.
Relevance matters.
I'd rather help position a book where people who already care about books have an opportunity to discover it than simply chase meaningless impressions.
My book marketing work is built around two different needs.
Some authors don't need to build an entire marketing system themselves.
They simply want someone to promote their book and get it in front of more readers.
That's where my Promote My Book service comes in.
I can feature and promote an author's book through my established Books Recs platform, giving the book another opportunity to reach a relevant reader audience.
Other authors want to build something they can continue growing.
For those authors, I offer my Pinterest Growth System.
Instead of treating Pinterest as another place to randomly post book graphics, I approach it around Pinterest SEO, search visibility, content positioning, and long-term reader discovery.
The goal is to build an author presence that can continue giving their books opportunities to be discovered.
Professional book marketing shouldn't be about making an author feel like they're constantly advertising.
It should help answer a much more important question:
“How are new readers going to find this book?”
Because publishing gives your book a home.
Marketing gives it paths to discovery.
And when those paths lead toward the right audience, you create more opportunities for readers to discover your work, learn about it, and potentially become buyers.
If you're looking for Professional Book Marketing to promote your book and reach new readers, that's exactly the problem I help authors solve.
Your book doesn't necessarily need another post. It may need another path to the reader.
